In 1999, our journey started modestly, when we got the opportunity to supply Garlic Chutney (our first product) at Hotel Sahara Star, one the trusted and well known name hotel industry in Mumbai. Encouraged by the love our food received, we formally began as Vaidehi Products in 2001, guided by a simple
promise: never compromise on quality, no matter how small the scale.
A turning point came in 2003, when we took a leap of faith and introduced packed ladoos to modern retail. At a time when sweets like ladoos were largely confined to mithai shops or at home, we took a pioneering step. Partnering with Apna Bazaar first and then DMart, Vaidehi became one of the first brands to introduce packed ladoos to the Indian retail market, redefining convenience without compromising authenticity. This innovation marked Vaidehi as a forward-thinking brand rooted deeply in tradition.
Between 2010 and 2015, we expanded our presence across major retail and online platforms including BigBasket and Big Bazaar (now Reliance smart). We stepped into the digital world in 2015 with vaidehifoods.com, reached homes across the country through trusted online platforms, and welcomed the next generation into leadership in 2019, carrying forward the values we started with.
